Political "Non-fiction" Review

Fire and Fury

Today's review will be a short and simple discussion about the "non-fiction" account of the Trump era White House through the eyes of Michael Wolff, a journalist who worked in the Trump administration. This review is not going to be a typical, non biased review, as I believe the fact that I read this book says something about my political affiliations against Trump's ideologies. However, that being said, this book is a quick and informative account of the early days within the Trump Administration. The political debacle that the 21st century is facing with Donald Trump is discussed within this book; scandal, and rampant political changes. 

Though I am a staunch democrat and mostly vehemently opposed to the Trump actions in regard to international relations, domestic affairs and the environment, this book gave me perspective on why Trump is the way he is. This new perspective almost allowed me to feel sorry for the position he is in, however this mess is something that he got himself into and so he and only he must correct to give this nation what it deserves. 

This book was an insightful, although biased at times look at how the Trump Administration operates and the recent political events that have occured in the first year of his time in the White House. The audiobook narrator made this account accessible and enjoyable to get an inside look at how poorly the Trump White House has been run. If you are looking for a quick audiobook to catch up on all of the debacles that the current Administration has had to face in the past year, I would recommend checking out Michael Wolff's account of the Trump White House, in Fire and Fury. 

This is a short review intentionally to avoid racey and hot button issues in politics. I respect the opinions of others and believe we are all entitled to our own opinions, therefore I will leave mine off the page. This book is written in a tabloid fashion, not literary fiction by any means, but an enjoyable political account.
